What Our Students Have To Say

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We’re new. But we’re not just another dental assisting school.

For Dr. Bridget Merritt-Brooks, it all started after losing her third dental assistant within a couple of months…

After talking with other dentists in the area, she found they were having similar experiences and realized a troubling trend:

Dental assistants graduating from nearby schools were not prepared for their roles.

Dr. Bridget Merritt-Brooks knew something had to change. So, she took action.

Her vision?

A dental school that offers more than basic knowledge – a school that truly prepares you for the realities of the dental field.

We are now accepting applications for the Winter Term.

The program is 14 weeks long.

Classes are held once a week on Saturday from 9 am – 4 pm or twice a week Monday and Wednesday nights from 5-9:30 PM. This schedule allows our students to continue working their current jobs while they complete the program. Additionally, students should plan to attend a 4-hour orientation session prior to the first day of class.

There are a maximum of 14 students in each class. This allows for plenty of individualized attention and ensures that everyone in the class gets the most out of the program.

At capacity, we have one teacher to every seven students.

The curriculum is blended. About 25 hours of instruction will be available online, and 80 hours will be conducted in person.

The program usually costs $4,500. This tuition covers the 10-week program and includes dental supplies, textbook, scrubs and shirt, radiology certification, and the state application fee.

We offer various payment plans to meet your needs:

  1. Pay in Full: Pay the full amount prior to starting classes. This option includes all necessary supplies and incurs no interest.
  2. Custom Down Payment Plan: Make a down payment higher than $600, with the monthly payments dependent on the amount of your down payment. This option includes an 11% interest rate.
  3. Minimum Down Payment Plan: Make a down payment of $500-$600, followed by 24 monthly payments of $250. This option includes an 11% interest rate.

Students should generally be older than 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and have access to a computer or smartphone. A criminal conviction will need to be explained to the Indiana Board of Dentistry, and all necessary documents submitted for evaluation.

Upon completion, students will receive a certificate that allows them to apply to the Indiana Board of Dentistry to become a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA).

Additionally, you will receive Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and a provisional radiology certification from the state of Indiana.

We offer personalized coaching, resume templates, mock interviews, and salary negotiation techniques to secure your dream job. We have also partnered with dental offices in the area to help you gain your shadowing hours. These turn out to be valuable connections to have when searching for a job after graduation.

You will learn the latest techniques and best practices in dental assisting, including chairside assisting, dental radiology, infection control, and patient communication.

If you have the will to succeed, we can show you the way! We ask our students to bring the drive and passion to learn, and we will handle the rest.
